Day 1 Antakya

Scheduled flight with Turkish Airlines via Istanbul to Adana. Reception by the local tour guide at the airport and transfer to hotel. Welcome cocktail with detailed information about the trip. Two nights in Antakya.

Day 2 Antakya

In Antioch (Acts 6:5; have 11,19-27; 14:26; 15,22-34, 18.22; Gal 2:11; 2 Tim 3.11) to Peter, Paul and many others important biblical figures halted. Here we visit the Archaeological Museum with one of the richest Roman mosaics in the world. We then visit the St. Peter Cave, where the followers of Jesus were first called Christians. In the afternoon we drive to Seleucia Pieria (Acts 13:4), where Paul sailed from his first missionary journey to Cyprus. Here we visit the Titus Tunnel from the 1 yrs. AD This tunnel was driven into the mountain to remove the silting of the port. Return to the hotel.


Day 3 Antakya - Cappadocia

Today we head towards Cappadocia. Along the way we make a stop in Tarsus (Acts 9:11; 9.30; 11.25; 21.39, 22.3), the birthplace of Paul. Here we visit the Paul Wells, the Cleopatra Gate and the Roman road. Continue to Cappadocia. Two nights accommodation in Cappadocia.

Day 4 Cappadocia

Cappadocia (Acts 2:9; 1.Peter 1.1) is a volcanic region, which has given the erosion of water and wind, a magical landscape. It is the home of three great Cappadocian: Basil the Great, Gregory of Nyssa and Gregory Nazianzen. These three church fathers have strongly influenced the religious life in this region and the whole Christian world. We will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, whose rock-hewn churches painted with beautiful frescos of the region. Then we visit the underground city of Derinkuyu who has served as a refuge for Christians. With numerous photo breaks we end the day.

Day 5 Cappadocia - Konya

Morning drive towards Konya, ancient Iconium (Acts 13.51; 14,1-21; 16.2; 2 Timothy 3:11). Along the way we visit the Obrukhan a Karawanserail from the 13 Yrs. In Konya, we visit the Museum of Islamic mystic Mevlana, who founded the Order of the Whirling Dervishes. In this order, the love of God was equated with the love of humanity. Then we visit the Roman Catholic Church, which is dedicated to St. Paul and St. Thecla. In the vicinity of Konya are the two ruined cities of Lystra and Derbe, which were visited by St. Paul a few times. Overnight in Konya.

Day 6 Konya - Antalya

After breakfast we drive to Antioch in Pisidia (Acts 13,14-50; 2 Timothy 3:11), where the Apostle Paul gave his famous speech at the synagogue in the city. Visit the ancient city. Continue past the lake Egirdir to Antalya. This is the route used the apostle Paul on his first missionary journey. Before we check into the hotel, we make a photo stop for the old port of Antalya (Acts 14:25), where St. Paul sailed to Antioch. Overnight in Antalya.

Day 7 Antalya - Pamukkale

Today we drive to Perge (Acts 13,13-14; 14.25) that Paul visited on his first missionary journey twice. Here we visit the Agora, the boulevard and the Hellenistic gate, where Paul had entered the city. Then we drive to Pamukkale. Snow-white calcium formations of Pamukkale are in thousands of years by the artistic hand of nature entstanden.Ihre cascades (UNESCO natural sight act) like frozen waterfalls. Then we have time for bathing in our Thermal Hotel in Pamukkale.

Day 8 Pamukkale - Kusadasi

In the morning visit to the Graeco Roman city of Hierapolis (Col. 4:13), the development of the curative waters of Pamukkale current beneficiary. Particularly interesting are the stone tombs of the cemetery with 1200, the theater, the martyrdom of the holy and the wealthy Phillipus Arc de Triomphe. Today, we are devoted to the subject land and people. We visit one of the carpets in this region and see what factors have made in the history of the Turks, the inventor of the hand-knotted carpet. Continue to Kusadasi. Three nights in Kusadasi area.

Day 9 Kusadasi

After breakfast we will visit Ephesus (Acts 18,19-24, 19,1-40; 20,16-17; Ephesians, 1 Corinthians 15:32; 16.8; 1 Tim 1:3; 2 Timothy 1 , 18; 4:12; Rev. 1.11, 2.1) one of the largest archaeological excavation in the world. Here we see the Odeon, the Kuretenstraße, the Temple of Hadrian, the Celsius Library and the St. Paul theater. Apostle John preached and died in Ephesus. We visit the ruins of the church, in honor of St. John in the 6th Yrs. was built. We then travel up to the mountain for a visit by the Nightingales mortality House of Mother Mary. Return to the hotel.

Day 10 Kusadasi

Today we make a day trip to the ancient cities of Miletus and Didyma. Miletus (Acts 20,15-17, 2 Timothy 4:20) was the city from the famous mathematician Thales. Here, the St. Paul of the church in Ephesus adopted. Miletus we see in the large theater and the Schlastika baths. Then we drive to Didyma and see the remnants of colossal Hellenistic oracular temple of Apollo. Return to the hotel.

Day 11 Departure

Transfer to airport and flight to your home country.
